Vegetables are very good for us.  They provide vitamins, fiber and minerals that support our bodies.  Often children don’t like to eat vegetables.  This book is a fun way to introduce young children to this very important part of their diet.  It includes examples of different types of vegetables – leaf vegetables (i.e. spinach), pod vegetables (i.e. peas), seed vegetables (i.e. lentils), root vegetables (i.e. beets), flower and bud vegetables (i.e. artichokes).  Veggies Don’t Scare Me At All! is written in a fun rhyme format to encourage children to try the many vegetables available to them.
