Afro-Tots was developed to build self esteem, while portraying positive self images, in an attempt to motivate African (Black) children to learn.
Afro-Tots symbolises the children who are striving towards attaining intellectual freedom.
Afro-Tots has seven children, each symbolising one of the principles of Kwanzaa.
